They say practice makes perfect...

Here are shots of my first hand-decorated sugar cookies. I made these for MOPS this past Spring for a special meeting we had and I learned A LOT! I intended to wrap the matching pairs of cookies in cellophane bags and tie with ribbons but was up until like 4am the morning of the meeting and, as the meeting starts at 9am, they didn't dry enough to bag them. An important lesson learned!

Mr. Snowman

I scratched out this design on a napkin as I was eating dinner and it came out just as cute as I imagined!  Two  delicious vanilla almond sugar cookies in one - a sweet little snowman resting in a field of glittery snow while flakes fall gently in the night sky. Living in southwestern PA, I just had to make Mr. Snowman's hat sparkle with the Steelers colors! Anyway, enough rambling.. here's the photo.
